Specialist machinery movements

June 10, 2016

Chambers & Cook has long been involved in specialist movements including delivering the 747 hangar doors to Heathrow in the 1960s (see gallery).

These days we don’t offer our own equipment for oversized loads but can offer a logistics project management service, utilising our extensive worldwide network of transportation agents to ensure you receive the most cost-effective solution and best experience possible.

A recent project utilised our own sliding roof trailers for transport of machinery to our customer where we arranged crane hire and coordinated delivery & off-loading of several loads.

We are always happy to work with our clients to ensure their required delivery takes place on time and within budget, and we love a challenge!

We are looking forward to some more interesting and exciting projects this year – keep an eye on our news page for announcements.
