As a Palletforce Customer, you will be aware that UK is leaving the European Union as of January 2021. Things will be changing with regards to how you will be allowed to ship your goods.. Below are some pointers that will need addressing, in order to continue smooth supply onto the continent of Europe, and the island of Ireland.
Here are some of the key items you will need together with links to related websites:
https://www.gov.uk/eori (EORI Registration)
https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/dds2/eos/eori_validation.jsp?Lang=en (EORI Check)
Palletforce require both shippers, and consignees EORI numbers for export to / imports from EU.
Link to GOV.UK database is here: Customs Tariff Headings
The specific code(s) for your goods must be shown on each invoice
This relates to the reason for export and varies by origin or any customs storage or duty deferral schemes that may be used
We would expect most goods would be UK Manufactured and are being sold as a permanent export
This would apply to such goods as Food / Livestock / Chemicals / Defence Items etc..
Is any other Chamber of Commerce Documentation required?
