Contract Services

For over 50 years, Chambers and Cook have provided dedicated contract services, specifically tailored to our individual customer needs. The earliest example was in the 1950’s when innovative double deck trailers were designed for our customers Atco Mowers which instantly doubled the loading capacity.

Currently we have many clients that benefit from a well designed tailor-made solution to their individual transport requirements. This may be UK distribution utilising a fleet of custom built trailers in the customers corporate livery, or an international solution using standard tractors with the option of trailers in the customers corporate livery. The provision of dedicated warehousing is also an option which could mean that companies can concentrate on their core activities and not be involved in operational activities.

The advantages of Contract Distribution are:

• Using the purchasing power of Chambers and Cook in negotiating reduced costs for vehicles.
• Reduced personnel overheads as the drivers and managers will be on the payroll of Chambers and Cook.
• Managed either in house or at Chambers and Cook.
• Our customers can have the visibility of vehicles in their own colours and logo
• Performance can be monitored by KPI’s.
• Costs would be covered by simply one invoice per month.
